A cameo cover has a beautiful window that surrounds an image which is preserved under a scratch-resistant laminate.
We offer a range of options from square to rectangular (both horizonal and vertical) as well as custom sizes and shapes upon request. Designing Your Cameo Cover Square & Rectangular Cameos Both square and rectangular cameos should be designed to a 1:1 ratio with a 5mm bleed around your image. Incorrect Image Ratios Unless you have ordered and paid for a custom cameo design, please note that should you submit images with incorrect ratios (eg 4:3), you do so with the agreement that the image will be cropped at the discretion of the QT Albums staff. We highly recommend that you crop the image correctly yourself (keeping in mind the bleed) as we do not offer refunds should you be unhappy with our cropping choice. 5mm Bleed When designing your cameo file, please ensure that you allow for a minimum of 5mm bleed on each side of the image as this space will be hidden underneath the fabric. Please remember that a bleed continues the image below the area which will be visible in the final product. Please ensure that you do not place anything important in this bleed space (heads, hands, etc.) unless you are okay with them being covered by the fabric. Unfortunately, QT cannot be responsible for any cover designs submitted without the correct design allowances made for this 5mm bleed. Custom Cameo If you would like a custom cameo, we are typically able to accomodate your request. The price for this service begins at £25 (in addition to the standard cameo price) and you should contact our friendly customer services team for an exact quote depending upon your specific specifications. Cameo Example Images Please refer to our sample images to see reference image sizes and placement.Portrait and Landscape orientation for rectangular openings. However, at this time, we are only able to provide example images of Portait Orientation. Please note that the dimensions for landscape rectangular images are the same, but the placement will be different. |
